Blue and White Neoclassical Staffordshire Platter with Provenance

A blue and white rectangular Staffordshire pottery platter with neoclassical decoration, featuring a collection of urns in the center surrounded by a graphic floral border, in periwinkle blue on white.

On the back of platter are old noted affixed notes documenting its interesting provenance. The platter was reported to have been owned by members of the Wright family, going back to John Wright who was the stage manager at Ford's Theater on the night of Lincoln's assassination.
