SOLD--Machinist Made Steel Horse Head Sculpture

0.00

A unique, end of day, machinist made steel horse head, composed off five plates of steel joined together with round fasteners, with a patinated brass one used to represent the horse's eye. This sculpture, together with two others (one of a cannon, another of an old fashioned truck) we are offering from a newly acquired collection, were one-offs, made by machinists with left over materials. They were produced as unique objects, not mass produced, by metal workers who used great imagination, ingenuity and skill to craft these modernist Folk Art pieces.
